I've known Steven since he was in middle school. He was just in town celebrating his induction into the Pinecrest Hall of Fame for his golf prowess and success in South Florida. He was a "lifer" at Pine Crest and his golf career led him to one of the most competitive Golf Universities around; The University of Texas. He became a Texas longhorn and was thrust into the highest level of completion form the likes of Beau Hossler, Scottie Scheffler and many other legendary PGA pros.

His story starts simply in South Florida where he picked up a golf club at the age of 2 and began his journey. He outshined other kids on the Junior Circuit and his skills were far more developed than the average golfer so he focused all his energy and time outside of school on becoming a better golfer. That included developing certain routines, rituals and consistency on and off the court to excel even further. "There is a certain mind/body connection with little room for failure or slip ups on the course during competition" He strives to find these simple tasks and complete them with the same effort every time so it becomes learned and engrained in his process.

His journey is far from over as he has graduated college and on PGAtour Canada trying to make it to the next level and reach the PGA tour. There is no doubt he can do it and has the entire South Florida area pulling for him and supporting his efforts. He suggest everyone keeps looking up no matter what and look at the world with wonder and enjoyment. You can follow his journey @stevenchervony on instagram or @pgatourcanada or @texasmgolf. We hope you enjoy the show!
