I met Jesse years ago at a mutual friends gym in Delray Beach Florida. He flashed a smile, laughed and ran into class. We stayed in touch over the years and would always catch up on the golf course during the summer rounds. This past summer, I was fortunate to connect with Jesse more and get a little more of his backstory with his journey from youth tennis phenom to professional tennis stallion.\\xa0

He shared with me his dedication to the sport began at an early age\\xa0 and as a 3 sport athlete in high school he stuck with tennis. He loves a good challenge and was always characterized as one of the hardest workers on and off the court forgoing his social life in high school and college to rise to the top level of tennis superstardom by beating the world number 1 in 2009. Due to some nagging sports related injuries he celebrated an amazing career and returned to south Florida to continue his passion for teaching and running tennis programs, commentating and traveling for world tennis events.

Jesse and I spoke about the commitment It took as a professional athlete day in and day out which carried over into his personal life and how he operates today. Even though he is not playing professionally he carries the same attitude in working with his programs and those that love the game. He still likes to compete in celebrity tennis events, Pickleball and on the golf course. Please enjoy the show and check out what he's up to on instagram @jbow_87, on twitter @jesselevine7 and at the Boca Bridges Racquet club. Enjoy the show!
