The first time I ever saw Blessing was on social media in a prank gone wrong. He was on muscle beach and trying to wash his hair and someone kept adding shampoo and he kept getting angrier and angrier. He's had so many more amazingly awesome internet viral videos that I've watched but I had the opportunity to sit down with him and learn more about his story and rise to the top of the bodybuilding world.

Blessing grew up dirt poor on a farm in Nigeria with no plumbing, water and little to no food in a huge family. He was smuggled into Ireland at the age of 9 and given a second chance to learn, study and eventually learn about fitness. He suffered relentless bullying and pain from being singled out by a lot of people in his small town. As het got older, he enjoyed working out and did a minor competition where he was given major feedback that he had the "stuff" to go far in the bodybuilding world. He ran with it and started to train hard all while truly enjoying his life and all he was blessed with.

With the rise of social media, he had a few videos go viral and became an internet sensation which only gave his haters more fuel to try and take him down. "I love my haters" says Blessing, they give me strength and add even. more to getting the job done. He won major comps and is competing in the Super Bowl of bodybuilding in the 2022 Olympia this very week. He has a deep appreciation for life, the quality of a few good friends, ,communicating about the struggle and depression that effected him along the way and how he lives one day at a time. Please reach out to him and check out all he is doing on instagram @blessing_awodibu aka #theboogieman. Enjoy the show!!
