Judge Berman is a well-known and respected retired New Jersey superior court judge with a colorful and expansive legal career spanning 48 years (and still going).  He sat down with me to talk about his roots in New Jersey, his calling to be a lawyer, and an impressive career path that brought him through 17 years of private practice, an appointment as a county prosecutor and life on the bench as a judge.  Judge Berman candidly speaks about the infamous  State v.
