Today on the Voicing Startups podcast I am talking with Sanjeev and John of Whetstone Technologies, both Veterans of Microsoft. Whetstone Technologies created the SoniBridge platform that is able to provide a voice-first, multimodal experience across multiple different voice assistants for businesses and brands, encouraging consumers to opt-in to receive text messages with things like coupons, web site links, videos, and instructions.
\\nIn this episode we cover all the different aspects of the Sonibridge platform as well as different trends in the voice space. While describing what exactly Whetstone technologies and the Sonibridge platform is, Sanjeev and John focused on how privacy and security is at the core of their product. Following this we discussed their business model, target customers, and potential verticals that are already showing interest in the Sonibridge platform. After looking at those metrics, Sanjeev gives a broad look into all the different use cases of voice and enabling a multi modal experience through SMS. As we wrap up the episode, we talk about competition and differentiation, what we can expect to see from the Sonbridge platform in the future, as well as what get Sanjeev and John excited about the voice space in the years ahead.
