Today on Video Marketing Madness: Setting Up a YouTube Channel 2020 -The YouTube channel art and icon are essential. If you don’t have them, you won’t get all the tools and be able to verify your channel. Canva is a free tool for doing channel art. -Make sure you enable the channel within the YouTube account. -Add sections on the home page. Typically they are playlists you have created. Include citations in the playlists. -Fill out the “About” section and include a citation. Add an email address and links: website, Facebook, GMB, LinkedIn, appointment link, etc. -Come up with a channel name that describes what you do -Phone verify the channel -In the creator studio, go to “Settings” and enable everything like custom thumbnails, YouTube Live, and the branding watermark. Ray uses a subscribe icon for the watermark. Fill out keywords and location and connect to your website.
