Oakland based artists Allison Tinati, better known as Hueman has mastered the delicate balance that so many are striving to achieve in the current art world. With her work in high demand across multiple disciplines she successfully divides her time between gallery work, collaborative and design work, and a heavy travel and mural painting schedule. In a scene that demands so much from it's artists, it’s not always easy to translate one’s work from the gallery to the streets and back while maintaining the integrity of the work, but for Hueman it seems to be no problem at all. Her distinctive style and crazy work ethic keeps her at the top of the heap in the urban contemporary scene and her bold color pallets and unique instinctive painting method keep her work fresh and constantly evolving no matter what the surface may be.
