Captain Kent King started his career with an interest in Hotel administration which led to a 12 year career in the hospitality business. Eventually he wanted to own his own business and started a mortgage company that opened offices in Utah, Nevada, Idaho and Arizona. He then desired the ability to fly himself to his offices so he enrolled in an aviation program and became a pilot. After falling in love with aviation he went on to receive a second bachelor's degree in aviation science, eventually becoming a commercial airline pilot and he flew for seven years. As a part of his retirement, Kent decided to teach at USU which pushed him to finished his Masters of Aviation in 2019. Currently, he is a Professional Practice Instructor for Utah State University.
