Kirsi works as a Careers Manager for One Refugee, a Utah nonprofit established in 2014 that focuses on helping students from a refugee background excel in their educational pursuits and succeed in professional and meaningful careers. Kirsi oversees all professional development opportunities and connections for over 300 students. Previous to One Refugee, Kirsi earned her bachelor's degree from BYU in East Asian studies and eventually her Master\\u2019s in Public Administration from BYU.

In this episode Kirsi talks to us about how her internships gave her the skills and real-world experience she needed to grow and thrive in her current role as a Careers Manager.
