From Ricochet Media and Planete F, this is the fifth episode of ‘Fil Rouge’, a 2018 podcast series focusing on the families, histories and traditions of seven First Nations and Inuit communities across Quebec.

Brother and sister Donald Sergerie Junior and Michèle Sergerie were raised by an Algonquin mother and a Quebequois father on the Algonquin territory of Anishnabeg in Val-d'Or, a city of 30,000 located around 500 kms north-west of Montreal. On this episode, Ricochet’s Émélie Rivard-Boudreau joins the siblings for a conversation on the challenges and opportunities that come with being raised between two cultures.
