Published: March 27, 2018, 6 a.m.

Scott Jensen is Co-Founder and CEO of Rhythm Superfoods, a manufacturer of organic plant-based superfoods snacks. Their flagship product is Kale Chips, and you will find them in most major grocery stores nationwide.

Scott is also the former CEO & President of One World Foods (Stubb’s Bar-B-Q), which he co-founded 20+ years ago with C.B. Stubblefield and two close friends.

One World Foods was successfully sold to McCormick & Co. in 2015. Scott led Stubb’s in its national and international expansion to be the largest SuperPremium Bar-B-Q and Marinade brand in the country.

Scott entrepreneurial path all began with a call from a friend asking if he wanted to start a BBQ Sauce company. That call caused Scott to quit his corporate job in Connecticut and create a life as a success in the food industry. Scott is a great guy and has lots to share!

On Today’s Episode Scott and I discuss:

  • Scott deciding to move back to Texas to start the BBQ Sauce Company and leaving his corporate job in Connecticut
  • Building a national brand and competing with the giant food corporations
