How I Overcame Two Sexual Assaults: The Difficult Journey
Lauren Schieffer is the daughter of a career Air Force officer and grew up being uprooted and relocated often. This imbued her with a profound independence and ability to adapt to changing circumstances, continually learning to adapt to new situations. The lessons she learned from her dad, \u201cThe Colonel\u201d helped her make smart decisions and overcome adversity with humility and a sense of humor.
Lauren recently removed her armor to share her difficult journey with overcoming sexual assaults and how she developed the skills to heal and thrive from them. I hope her story educates, motivates but most importantly inspires people to develop relevant skills to heal and thrive while living and when faced with adversity.
