It's known as the most dangerous hotel in the world, but Frying Pan Tower once saved countless lives as ship navigators tried to avoid the Graveyard of the Atlantic off the North Carolina coast.
Built by the U.S. Coast Guard in the 1960s, it was abandoned, but now saved by a Charlotte man trying to restore it.
