We want to thank people for their donations to and kind words for the people of Ukraine. The response has been heartening and the personal stories some of you included were touching. Over 1.5 million people have left Ukraine so far,, ~5% of the population.

A loyal listener from Canada pointed out that there are more Ukrainians in Canada than USA =1.4M v 1M in US. Canada has opened its borders for the ukrainian refugees. The US has yet to do this but has extended the visas for Ukrainians in the US.

Heard from a Russian listener who said the Russian people are"scared shitless." They don’t know what news to believe, so much propaganda He’s an IT guy so pretty savvy. Here’s a quote from one of his letters:
Anyway, if I'm going to be arrested, for me it's a way to a free world, as a fugitive of some sort.
Your support, support from people of the world -- that's important, thank you.

Rosie from Scotland sent me a video of Peace Train, the Cat Stevens song, sung by an international collection of singers. Very nice, seems like something we need.

Rosie also sent us two of her poetic interpretations whereby she would watch short silent video clips created by another artist and create audiovisual poetry. Here's a a link to the website. One is titled BLUE and the other is Infinitude. Spend two minutes of your time with these.

OK, we need to destress a bit. Whudda thunk Del's trip to the dentist would be a destressor? The Bucks share this gratis. That means this is an unpaid testimonial.

Del relate a psychological test he thinks he passed with flying colors. Don't ask the dog.

Del and Dave start new books. That's all we know so far.

Dave sold a bike ….. Parted with his beloved Co-Motion touring bike. Here’s to middle-aged buckRandy., the new owner. Interesting aside-his partner, whom he characterized as the love of his life, grew up mostly in Ulm, Germany-about 30 miles from where Dave's wife lived. Her family had fled Romania during the Ceacescu regime; a theme being duplicated by millions today.

You can still donate money to Ukrainian refugee support. Pick a charity from this list in the Washington Post.

PEACE
