Eps. 77: Today on Two Mics Up - we have the pleasure to rock with one of our dopest guests, Actress Shawntay Dalon. For Your Emmy\xae Consideration actress Shawntay Dalon was born & raised in Detroit, since the day she discovered her purpose, Shawntay Dalon has been hitting the ground running!
\nShawntay completed two seasons of Comedy Central's "Detroiters", she has also recurred on Netflix's "I Think You Should Leave\u201d, and you can also check out Shawntay in the season 8 premiere episode of NBC\u2019s \u201cBrooklyn Nine Nine\u201d playing the role of Aisha Fulton. Even with these accomplishments Shawntay prides herself most as still being the \u2018Survivor Advocate\u2019 that she's been for over 15 years.
\nOnce a depressed and hurt teen, Shawntay has found joy in Christ and also helping others through their pain. As a survivor herself, Shawntay found passion in helping others find & see their God given purpose. Be it acting, writing, dance, spoken word, or a simple ear to listen, Shawntay chooses to use her gifts to spread Faith, Love, and Courage.
