My guest today is a multi-award winning culinary historian, cookbook author, and founder of La Varenne Cooking School in Paris,  which operated from 1975 to 2007, the classes continued in California through 2017.

She has written over 30 cookbooks, and her latest cookbook Women in the Kitchen: Twelve Essential Cookbook Writers Who Defined The Way We Eat From 1661 to Today" was lunch in August 2020.

She was inducted into the James Beard Foundation Hall of Fame, and also awarded The Rank of Legion of Honor for her accomplishments in promoting the gastronomy of France.
