Truck tonnage in April increased on an annual basis but declined compared with March, American Trucking Associations reported. The seasonally adjusted ATA For-Hire Truck Tonnage figure of 115.8 dipped 2% from its 118.2 result from March, the first sequential decline after eight consecutive gains.
