U.S. House Republicans have unveiled new legislation that would authorize $400 billion over five years for surface transportation programs. The proposed bill \u2014 the Surface Transportation Advanced Through Reform, Technology and Efficient Review Act 2.0 \u2014 would update a 2015 highway law that expires in September. It would extend or create programs related to highway funding, autonomous vehicles and the trucking workforce, among other provisions.
