Trucking fleets are increasingly receptive to alternative fuels and sustainable technology, according to consulting firm Gladstein, Neandross & Associates\u2019 recent survey of 250 public, private and municipal fleets. Among the reasons fleets cited were their move toward environmental sustainability and carbon reduction, and the need to find more cost-effective transportation options given the current high cost of fuel.
