The national average price for diesel slipped 3.5 cents to $4.247 a gallon, according to Energy Information Administration data released March 13. Diesel\u2019s national average price has fallen for the past six weeks, totaling 37.5 cents, and for seven of the 10 reporting periods in 2023.
