The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration has issued final regulatory guidance on its definitions of \u2018\u2018broker\u2019\u2019 and \u2018\u2018bona fide agents,\u201d including guidance on the role and activities of entities referred to as \u201cdispatch services\u201d for motor vehicle transportation. While the agency noted it is clarifying some regulatory areas, it said the actual definitions of broker and bona fide agents largely remain unchanged from existing federal regulations. The final guidance updates the agency\u2019s November 2022 interim guidance in response to public comments the agency received.
