J.B. Hunt has partnered with autonomous vehicle developer Waymo to move freight with self-driving trucks in Texas. Through the limited program, Waymo\u2019s autonomous trucking unit, Waymo Via, will move loads between facilities in Houston and Fort Worth. That\u2019s a distance of more than 250 miles. Waymo\u2019s Class 8 trucks will drive autonomously on the freight runs, but they also will have two specialists on board. One will be a commercially licensed driver.
