XPO Logistics Inc. on Aug. 2 completed its previously announced spinoff of GXO Logistics Inc., creating two independent, publicly traded companies. Going forward, XPO will offer primarily less-than-truckload transportation and truck brokerage services, while GXO will provide contract logistics services.
