Late night anime doesn\'t get get any nostalgia without a dash of Escalowne. One of the pioneers for the late night anime viewing experience, Escaflowne was always a show that gave me a sense of awe and bewilderment. From the catchy intro to the mecha suit it was one of my first glances at the world of Japanese animation. Although it might not sit atop the throne of best anime or most memorable it still plays a role in my memory of anime and late night cartoons.
