Ma\u0161a (Masha) Lizdek is a fast-rising actor who was\xa0born in Austria, Vienna, raised in former Yugoslavia,\xa0Bosnia and Croatia and currently based in Toronto,\xa0Canada.

Ma\u0161a landed her first professional role in the horror\xa0mini television series DARK NET (Super Channel)\xa0about a macabre web site whose protagonists face\xa0a range of unnamable horrors. The show was an\xa0adaptation of the Japanese series Tori Hada. Since
then Ma\u0161a has amassed a growing body of work\xa0including THE HANDMAID\u2019S TALE (Hulu),\xa0UNPERFECT CHRISTMAS (Prime Video), SAVING\xa0HOPE (NBC/CTV), MURDOCH MYSTERIES
(CBC/CityTV), LUCKY 7 (ABC), MAN SEEKING\xa0WOMAN (FXX), OPEN HEART (Teen Nick), LOST\xa0GIRL (Showcase), and THAT\u2019S MY DJ (YouTube).

Coming up next, Ma\u0161a is set to take on her biggest role yet as Lisa in the new upcoming sci-fi thriller film\xa0SIMULANT (Mongrel Media) following the story of Faye played by Jordana Brewster, who tries to replace her newly\xa0deceased husband, Evan played by Robbie Amell, with an android simulant. The film also stars Sam Worthington\xa0and Simu Liu. SIMULANT hit theatres in Canada on April 7th and the United States on May 5th.

Ma\u0161a can also be seen starring in the new feature BOY IN THE WOODS, a remarkable true-life survival story of a
Jewish boy hiding and being hunted in the forests of Nazi-occupied Eastern Europe.
