Krista Allenstein: Maps Painter
On this episode of the podcast, I meet painter Krista Allenstein. Krista is an artist here in Wisconsin who paints reimagined old roadsigns on maps they collect. The signs painted sometimes have different messages than the original. We talk about how Krista started out as a costume designer and how they started making paintings and putting their work out into the world.
