There is a right way of thinking that will help you find solutions to mental health, mental issues, etc. Yes, I went there. Mental health is deteriorating and in part it is due to lack of control of our thoughts and our emotions.
When emotions are out of control, take a moment and just breathe. There is power in your breath. Pause, and breathe. Listen to the inhale and exhale. It stimulates the vagus nerve and helps to calm your system.
We react emotionally because we build defense mechanisms to prevent ourselves from getting hurt. We have subconscious programming that causes our emotions. It can be reprogrammed.
