Jewell Horton is an accomplished horsewoman and so much more! She is the animal shelter manager for Pender County. She founded Horton's Rehab Rescue, she does animal rescue, human rescue and disaster relief and has been a champion in those arenas for many years. \xa0 I have had the privilege of being her friend for a few years now and she constantly amazes me with her drive and dedication to horses.
