Volcano Expert Dr Mike Garcia of the Dept. of Geology and Geophysics at the University of Hawaii. The Kilaiea volcano has been erupting all week and the residents now "vog" (volcano fog). Since 1983 Kilauea has been near eruption and is known as the world’s most active volcano. Dr. Garcia stops by the Conway show to give us an update on the volcano activity. He also explains how lava cools down in the ocean and the dangers of standing on it. Dr. Garcia also reminds us that age is just a number.
