Converging Technologies and Robot Avatars
Robot Avatars will disrupt entire industries. Maybe all of them.
That's what you call a, 'Secondary Wave': these are the indirect, unintentional consequences of Converging Technologies. For example, imagine if people had Robot Avatars, they wouldn't need to travel, think of the impact that would have on the airline industry!
Another side effect of Converging Technologies is, crime and violence committed by Robot Avatars - if people could commit violence with their R.A. would it still be their responsibly? What would the laws look like? Let me know!
