In today’s episode, I chat with Robin Singhvi, the Portland, Oregon-based Founder of SmartCue, an effectiveness platform that allows enterprise software sales teams to create contextual & tailored demos for every prospect. Robin has spent over a decade in the US B2B SaaS space as a sales and solutioning leader, supporting sales and product teams to develop and execute best-in-class experiences for customers.

Together we discussed the evolution of enterprise sales, how relationships have evolved with the use of technology & how the pandemic changed everything.

Robin began the journey at SmartCue as a solopreneur, built a hybrid team split between Oregon & India & became a true student of his own business, applying best practices to build relationships with clients, while fostering a culture of engagement internally. We talked about the challenges of growing your business as a solopreneur, the nuances of leading teams a world apart from one another & how being intentional about asynchronous work was the key to the firm’s success.

Past listeners of this podcast will be familiar with my thoughts on the differences between building sales & influence - unique skills in their own right - and how sharing best-practices cross-functionally allows us to be more effective in a world that’s still driven by relationships.

Beyond that, it was another fun chat, and I hope you enjoy our conversation, as much as I did recording it.
