Geoff Teoli & Darin Lee: MBA Reflections: Part 1

Published: June 11, 2020, 5 p.m.

In the last several weeks, I’ve made a conscious effort to reconnect with people. In 2017, I graduated from an international MBA program that included studies in several international cities - Vancouver, Sao Paulo, Mexico City & Nashville.

Along the way, I met some pretty amazing people.

The Chief Information Officer at the University of the Fraser Valley, Darin Lee is an experienced digital strategist; a catalyst for transformation change at several Canadian universities. With both an undergraduate degree and MBA from Simon Fraser University and Graduate Certificates in Business in the Americas from Sao Paulo, Brazil, he is uniquely qualified to oversee the technology transformation plan for the university.

And with a wealth of experience spanning over a decade in film production, Geoff Teoli is presently engaged as Senior Manager, Film and Special Events at the City of Vancouver. He and his team are focused on developing energy-efficient sustainability strategies for the industry at large.

In this episode of Thinking Inside the Box Podcast, we reminisce about our MBA experiences and the parallels to the present circumstances many of us find ourselves in considering recent global events. We’ve been through a lot together, and I always enjoy reconnecting with such close friends.
