#61 - If only our behaviors were black & white
\nLife is so much easier when we can put everything in a bucket, or a category. We stay more organized and at peace when everything is in its proper place. We do this in our closets and cupboards and even try to do this with people. Generations have buckets. Political parties have buckets. We have even created buckets for different behavioral styles.
\nIf you have ever taken a behavioral assessment you know that you will be labeled with a number or letter or color or character. According to the assessment every human being is placed in one of the few assessment buckets. However, our behaviors are not that easy to define or understand. It never fails, there is always one person that does not quite fit any of the buckets.
\nMaybe there are more than the defined buckets. Maybe there are combinations of buckets that define a new type of behavior. This podcast episode digs deep into other behavioral mixtures that may better define you and your co-workers. People are not easy to figure out. But maybe this will help you better understand people's 'why' so that you can continue to grow your communication skills.
