While visiting New York, Steinhardt had a chance to meet up with the acclaimed guitarist, David Leisner, of the Manhattan School of Music. Throughout their conversation, Leisner discussed his newly released book, Playing With Ease: A Healthy Approach to Guitar Technique. As a musician who recovered from focal dystonia, Leisner brings a unique perspective on injury prevention and performance longevity. Leisner also discussed his teaching, composition, and transcription approaches, along with his current tour with duet partner, Eduardo Fernandez.
