Trump never attempted or called for the overthrow of the government. That\u2019s absolutely disingenuous. He called on VP Pence to do what he argued was his constitutional duty and reject electors and send them back to their respective state legislatures. Incidentally, the state legislatures could have simply sent the electors right back - at which point nothing else could be done to change the election results.
