With so much great new r&b/soul/funk music hitting the streets, one needs to not want for a radio station to play something for them, especially when you're from my generation(born in the '7os, grew up in the '80s and the '90s). R&B/Soul/Funk is not dead, it got pushed off of terrestrial radio. You want know what happened though? Independent platforms, and overseas travel for the artists, have kept things alive. so, to my fellow music lovers out there, take your ears away from the norm and give those independent platforms a try.
