TOK - PHYLLIS GLICK

Trapper Phyllis Glick of Able Wildlife is known in the industry as a first-rate practitioner of humane animal removal, and as Larry points out, this is more important than ever for today's consumers.

If you have squirrels, raccoons, opossums, birds or any other unwanted guests in your attic or crawl-space, Phyllis is one of the only trappers in her territory who even offers eviction (as opposed to extermination) and with 15 years trapping experience, you can count on her to get the job done right. Though she's an animal lover, she always puts her customer's needs first.

In this interview, Larry gets the lowdown on what trappers must do, legally and ethically, in order to safely remove the various wild animal pests which infest area homes.

Later in the show, Larry's EG (Exterminator Guilt) flares up and he briefly discusses his preoccupation, as an ex-exterminator turned comedian, with the potential immorality involved in killing living things instead of crowds. Phyllis confides that she's had similar concerns, and explains how she's been able to put these questions to bed.

There's also a lot of discovery in this episode, and we learn interesting points of law governing the practice of trapping wild animals, as well as a little about the life philosophies of both host and guest.
