In this episode of The Thoughtful Entrepreneur, your host Josh Elledge speaks with Karen Mangia, author of several books, including The Wall Street Journal Bestseller, Success From Anywhere and Podcast host of Success from Anywhere.

Karen explains why she thinks the pandemic has allowed people to evolve and create their own definition of success. From the thousands of interviews she conducted, she identified 3 things that employees want these days: flexibility, autonomy, and choice. Without these offers, people will leave the company too early.

Of these 3 important things, Karen highlights the beauty and importance of giving employees a choice. She says that choice, on the employer\'s side, gives perspective on what could be done, what job they have and what could be. For employees, choice makes them feel seen, heard and appreciated. Karen believes what would change in an organization moving towards peak performance is the curiosity to change conversations and provide choices.
