Stories From the High Holy Days
b'This year, for the first time in many years, \\xa0I am attending services during the Jewish New Year (Rosh Hashanah) and The Day of Atonement (Yom Kippur). \\xa0I will discuss my odyssey as a Jew and an American and my reaction to the biblical stories and prayers that made up the services at the Reformed Temple I attended. I will discuss my local story within the context of the political and military stories being played out in Syria involving the atrocities involving the use of poison gas by Dictator Assad, the stories involving Russia and Putin, as well as those involving America, President Obama and Congress. My audience is welcome to join in with their own stories'
