We extend a warm welcome to Ryan Andrews who is our guest for today\\u2019s episode. Ryan is a managing partner at Aerial Investment Management and an expert in the closed-end fund model. He manages two funds at Aerial, which are the Recession Resistant Real Estate Fund and the KYC Senior Debt Fund. Ryan tells us about how he graduated from college at the exact moment of the 2007 recession and then moved into finance management through working at PIMCO. He began to learn more about the real estate side of things while working at a then-fledgling CrowdStreet, and polished off his fund knowledge by managing two different debt funds thereafter. As a graduate during the recession, it is clear that Ryan has an inbuilt instinct toward preparing for the coming correction.
