In this episode of The Real Estate Investing Club I interview Dave Holman, Dave grew up in Maine, studied green building and environmental technology at Carleton College before spending 4 years in Bolivia co-founding a chain of camping stores. He got his MBA in sustainble business and started real estate investing as a passive investor in 2011. He worked as a fundraiser for Safe Passage, an NGO that educates kids living in the Guatemala City Garbage dump and then for Bowdoin College. All the while he built a portfolio of rental properties which has now grown to 94 units. Dave quit his day job in 2019 to be a full time commercial broker, syndicator, and owner of his company Katahdin Property Management.. Dave Holman is a real estate investor who has a great story to share and words of wisdom to impart for both beginning and veteran investors alike, so grab your pen and paper, buckle up and enjoy the ride.
