This Episode’s Heavy-hitter’s: Juliette is empowering young girls to start creating NFT projects and providing all the education and assistance needed to do so through her Girls Who Mint project (which my amazing daughter Nina was a part of!) A large part of the initiative with VeeFriends IP extensions is to help people understand the holistic value of NFTs. By creating IRL representations of VeeFriends, Andy explains that NFTs have become more than just an abstract concept for holders. Juliette’s NFT collection is designed with characters that embody the realistic representation of what being a girl means by showing flaws or less idealistic traits in their characters. Juliette is also working on creating a safe social ecosystem that is run and occupied by the Girls Who Mint. This is to promote creativity and curiosity as they educate themselves through the world of Web3 and NFTs. Andy says that VeeFriends has been quite focused on the Web2.5 world– effectively combining the best parts of Web2 and Web3 without rushing or forcing the technologies and practices of Web3 that aren’t fully fleshed out yet.
