The Moon
Quietly she sits in the sky, unaffected by us. She influences in silence. She causes many changes in us and on earth, yet her different phases remain the same, as they have for 4.5 billion years. The mystery, and romance that she has evoked. The many poems, books, movies she has inspired. Prayers she has heard, and horrors she has seen. Yet she remains. No harm comes from her rays.
