And no, that\'s not racist. \\n\\n(First in a random series of "Meet the Co-Hosts.")\\n\\nThe Drink du Jour:\\n\\nSingapore Sling\\n\\n1 1/2 ounces gin\\n1 ounce lemon juice\\n1/4 ounce simple syrup\\n1 1/2 teaspoon powdered sugar\\n2 ounces club soda\\n1/2 ounce cherry brandy, kirsch, or Cherry Heering\\nLemon slice for garnish\\nMaraschino cherry for garnish\\n\\nPour the gin, lemon juice, simple syrup, and powdered sugar into a cocktail shaker with ice cubes. Shake well. Strain into a highball glass with ice cubes. Pour in the club soda. Float the cherry brandy on top by pouring it over the back of a bar spoon.
