Transferable learning is building conceptual understanding that transfers across situations a bigger picture of how the world works. The students think about the why of learning. The students articulate the transferable concepts the why of the structure of the disciplines through strong reasoning and evidence. How do we get Ss not to forget their Learning? Conceptual relationship questions are the stem for planning in order for students to make the connections and articulate them.
