In past episodes, we've discussed the concept of "taxation as theft". Today, each of us took our turn explaining our own views on why that is and how we come to that conclusion. In the later half of the program, the subject of conversation was "green taxes", along with a ridiculous example of how trying to use taxes to "persuade" people to behave a certain way is a flawed methodology.
