Fact-checking has become newly prominent in recent years, as fact-checkers work to counter surges of online disinformation and misinformation. And it\u2019s more important than ever right now in the middle of a pandemic, when incorrect information circulating online has immediate consequences for people\u2019s health. Baybars has been on the front lines of fact-checking in recent years.
