In a letter to Alex Acosta after Epstein's first arrest, Ghislaine Maxwell gushed about how great of a guy Epstein was and how he was always willing to help people out or how he always had a smile.

Meanwhile, Epstein was being accused by over 40 young girls of abuse. To Maxwell though...none of that mattered.

Her letter and others like it ultimately led to Epstein securing the plea deal of the century's that saw him do very light jail time and then he went right back to abusing women and children.
