Prince Andrew went on the record with the BBC a few weeks ago to clear the air over his alleged assault of Virginia Roberts.

What happened instead was an epic crash and burn on live tv. The now disgraced Prince took it upon himself to try to tamper down the heat that was rising and instead ended up sinking himself much deeper in the mud.
