Jennifer Suhr, RN, BSN, MBA has a passion for good food and good health. She became vegetarian 16 years ago and began researching the benefits of a vegetarian diet, and the correlation between peoples\\u2019 eating habits, environments, and disease. Pursuing a career in health, she attended nursing school and worked in a large metro hospital but soon realized that conventional medicine was not the right fit. She believed in a natural holistic approach to health and wellness.\\n Jennifer and her husband had two daughters who were born blind because of a rare genetic disorder. She resigned from her job at the hospital and looked for a way to uplift humanity\\u2019s consciousness of health from home where she could care for her children at the same time. In 2011, she created HappyHealthyVegetarian.com, a vegetarian meal planning website to educate, inspire, and ease the burden of meal planning for vegetarians.
